Pastoral Care

St. Joseph’s Pastoral Care ministry coordinates the pastoral care needs of parishioners in hospitals, assisted living centers, nursing homes, as well as those at home.

"The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ."
- Ephesians 4:11-12

Our pastoral care team offers a pastoral visit by people trained to be sensitive and compassionate. They offer a calming, listening presence during a difficult time.

If you, a family member, or a fellow parishioner is in need of pastoral care, please contact The Rev. Deacon Mary Mac Shields at marymacshields@gmail.com. You may also call the church office at 910-323-0161 or email us.
